Hotel chain The Ascott Limited has launched a best price guarantee for all of its properties, whereby guests will receive money back if they find a lower rate on an third party site after booking through Ascott’s own channels.
If a cheaper rate is found for stays of less than 30 days within 24 hours of the booking, Ascott will match the price, as well as offer a 50% discount on the customer’s first night.
Ascott’s chief corporate officer Tony Soh said: “Ascott was the first international serviced residence owner-operator to launch Best Rate Guarantee in 2010 so that our guests can enjoy peace of mind when they make their online bookings with us.
“The positive response to this programme has encouraged us to further improve the Best Rate Guarantee so that we will continue to provide the best value and experience for our guests.”
Ascott has recently rolled out mobile-friendly websites for each of its brands - Ascott, Citadines and Somerset, where guests can check real-time availability and make reservations.
