The team at the luxury Le Gray Beirut in Lebanon is preparing to embark on a major extension of the hotel.

“Le Gray is now preparing to kick off its extension which will include a larger lobby, with a lobby lounge, a chocolate room, banquet space, a 35-seat movie theatre and an additional 18 rooms,” Rana El Khoury, who was recently appointed general manager of the hotel, told Hotelier Middle East.

She said works were due to be completed by the end of 2014.

Le Gray is CampbellGray’s first hotel in the Middle East and opened in 2009. Located in on Martyrs’ Square, it comprises 87 rooms and suites designed in collaboration with Mary Fox Linton.
