Kempinski The Wave hotel and hotel apartments, the first hotel development at The Wave, Muscat is scheduled to open in 2015 after an agreement was reached with the Omani Hospitality Company.

The agreement was signed by CEO of The Wave, Muscat Michael Lenarduzzi, and Abeer Mohamed Al Abduwani, board member of the Omani Hospitality Company and attended by His Excellency Eng. Sultan bin Hamdoon Al Harthy, chairman of The Wave, Muscat.

“Kempinski is a valuable internationally-renowned addition to Muscat through their high standard facilities and quality services in hotel management. When operational, the hotel will be a remarkable landmark in the city and will significantly support the promotion of Muscat as a tourist destination and The Wave, Muscat as a pioneering Integrated Tourism Complex in the country,” Said his Excellency Eng. Sultan bin Hamdoon Al Harthy, Chairman of The Wave, Muscat.

Kempinski, The Wave, Muscat will be the first hotel at The Wave, Muscat and will offer 309 hotel rooms and 77 hotel apartments overlooking the beachfront. The 5-star hotel will also offer 12 food and beverage outlets as well as meeting facilities, swimming pools, spa options, beach club facilities, gymnasium, ballroom, kids club and even a bowling facility.

Construction of the Kempinski at the Wave, Muscat will begin in the first quarter of 2013 and is scheduled to be completed during the second half of 2015.
