Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has completed the refurbishment of its 543 hotel apartments, which have been a feature of the downtown Dubai skyline since 1979.

The three hotel apartment buildings, renamed 'The Apartments', located next to the World Trade Centre Dubai Metro station, are within easy walking distance of the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

"Refurbishing the Apartments was a natural step for Dubai World Trade Centre as we further cement our position as an international destination for events and conferences. As our business and venue continues to grow each year, with everything ranging from mega trade shows and international congresses to live events, our aim is to provide a well-rounded visitor experience for our guest,” said The Apartments at Dubai World Trade Centre general manager Issam Nizam.

Designed to accommodate short-to-medium term guests, each of one, two or three bedroom apartments features a balcony, in room WiFi as well as providing state-of-the-art facilities such as a temperature controlled swimming pool, jacuzzi, fully-equipped gym and a variety of fitness classes.

The Apartments have already experienced full occupancy during the recent Arab Health and Gulfood 2013 trade shows and will be looking to benefit from the growing numbers of international attendees to events at DWTC, who according to an Economic Impact Assessment report by Oxford Economics in 2011, spend 12 times more on average per event than locally-based attendees.
