Patrick Martinez, general manager of the Rotana Complex Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, has been awarded the title ‘General Manager of the Year 2012’ for the Middle East by Rotana.
Martinez collected the award at Rotana’s GM’s Conference, April 2013, held in Dubai, which recognises leadership results in financial growth, guest satisfaction and employee satisfaction, along with the development of management skills within the group.
A graduate from the Hotel School in Nice, France and a seasoned hotelier who has worked on three continents, Rotana say Martinez has consistently exercised leadership skills and sound commercial judgment since joining Rotana in 2010.

Commenting on the accolade, Martinez said: “It is an honor to receive this award. I am proud of my entire team and the executive committee members who are also behind this achievement.”
Rotana currently manages a portfolio of 85 properties throughout the MENA region.
