Locally owned and operated hotel, The Domain Bahrain will begin a ‘soft’ opening during Eid Al Fitr in August 2013.
The 36-storey, 131-key property is located in the capital’s Diplomatic Area. Most of the suites and rooms as well as two restaurants, the Le Sauvage grill room and the Le Domain French restaurant, will open during the soft launch.
The Domain managing director Patrick de Groot said: “We are thrilled about the opening of The Domain in just a few weeks and as a team we all look forward to introducing guests and members to our fresh, ground-breaking concept in the Middle East. After our soft opening on the occasion ofEid Al Fitr, we expect to have all our social spaces as well as our Vie Spa and Vie Fitness floors open by September 15.”

As part of its focus on creating a social experience, a specially developed app called ‘The Conversation’ will enable guests to interact with one another and customise their experience before and during their stay at the hotel.
The Domain will feature nine ‘social spaces’ including bars, lounges and restaurants that serve Japanese, French, Italian and Lebanese food.
