The Royal Rose Hotel, the first 5-star Abu Dhabi property due to open this September, has appointed Nickolas Chatzipetros as deputy general manager and Thanos Tsinias as front office manager.

Owned by the Bin Ham Group and managed by the City Seasons Group of Hotels, the 355-key Royal Rose hotel has been built to resemble a Parisian 17th Century City Palais and will provide two 'executive floors' with separate lounges for business services plus three restaurants, six banquet and meeting rooms (including two ballrooms on two floors) hosting events up to 300 people.

Commenting on the appointments, Royal rose general manager Gianni Malerba said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome Nickolas and Thanos to the team. Both are seasoned hoteliers with individual expertise which will be a great asset to the hotel and to our clients. I am confident that they will position Royal Rose Hotel as one of Abu Dhabi’s leading luxury hotels and will support the company to reach its growth strategy.”

An all rounded hotelier with experience in hotel pre-openings and high class food and beverage operations, new deputy general manager Chatzipetros has worked in various properties in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, and will assist the hotel general manager with all the operational requirements of the hotel.

A Greek national, Tsinias has over 12 years of industry experience having previously worked with Starwood Hotels and with Accor’s Sofitel brand. His main role at the Royal Rose will be to manage the hotel’s front desk, guest relations, concierges and business centre and ensure they deliver efficient service to guests.
