LG Electronics has signed up as an event sponsor for the Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate, to be held on September 9 at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel in Dubai.

Now in its fourth year, the Hotelier Middle East Great GM Debate attracts around 200 general managers from luxury, upscale and midmarket hotels across the UAE to discuss industry issues and promote industry best practices.

“An event such as the Great GM Debate allows us to share insights and work together with Hoteliers to understand better how we can work together to deliver products and solutions which can help hoteliers achieve their goals," added Finj.

This year, the event will present its largest list of speakers to date, with some exciting new names already signed up to the agenda, including Rudi Jagersbacher, president MEA, Hilton Worldwide; Thomas Tapken, area vice president — Dubai & Northern Emirates, Rotana Hotel Management Corporation; Serge Zaalof, president & managing director, Atlantis — The Palm; Henk Bruggeman, director operations — Middle East and China, Hakkasan Dubai; and Jason Myers, managing director — Jumeirah Restaurants & general manager — operations, Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts.

LG will also be displaying some of its latest products at the event. The company’s new releases for the hospitality industry include the LP860H – Pro: Centric Smart Cinema Screen, which delivers a range of wireless connectivity that can help guests connect their devices to the TV and share content.

Another new product is the Pro: Centric V CCC (Customer Created Content) PCS solution, a customised GUI that can be deployed on a Linux based information generator across an endless number of TV end points across the property. The hotel can promote and advertise their F&B and other facilities through this interface and deliver a customised EPG to the guest to deliver a professional TV content entertainment system.
