The Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa has opened Kuwait’s first Talise Spa, which has become the largest spa in the country with 3500 square meters of space comprising 17 treatment rooms.

Speaking to Hotelier Middle East during a recent visit to the hotel, Jumeirah Messilah Beach’s spa director Ayman Alamat outlined the hotel’s plans for the spa to become one of the premier spa destinations in the region.

“Talise is such a well known and respected name already, with some amazing signature spas in Dubai, and that is what we want to bring to Kuwait. We want guests to know that if they enjoy the Talise experience, then they can come to the hotel and have the same quality experience here as well, alongside our own signature treatments such as the Himalayan salt room,” said Alamat.

“Eventually we are hoping to create specific packages and cross promotions for our Talise Spa customers to travel between our locations,” he added.

The spa’s signature treatment is the Middle East’s first Himalayan salt room, which has been built with pure crystal salt bricks which have been compressed for over 250 million years, and which the spa claims can rebalance the body’s minerals and strengthen the immune system.

General manager Mark Griffiths said: “Undoubtedly, guests can now embark on a journey of the senses in Kuwait at Talise in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa. Every guest at Talise will enjoy a tailored approach to health and wellbeing. All our therapies are designed to leave guests feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.”

Soon the hotel’s spa will be joined by the opening of the accompanying Aqua lounge, which will offer a dedicated menu of wellness food devised to compliment the spa’s treatment menu.
