Laureate Hospitality Education is to showcase its hospitality, event and sports management education offerings at a forum taking place in Dubai on November 7, 2013 at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel.

Laureate Hospitality Education is made up of four international institutions- Glion Institute of Higher Education (Switzerland and UK), Les Roches International School of Hotel Management (Switzerland, Spain, China), Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School (Australia) and Kendall College (USA).

This is the first time Laureate Hospitality Education holds an event of this nature in Dubai. The one-day event is an opportunity for hospitality professionals and aspiring students to meet representatives, faculty and alumni of each school and participate in presentations about the schools, programmes and worldwide campuses.

Laureate Hospitality Education regional admissions director Vana Saade said: “We are excited to hold the first Laureate Education Forum in Dubai. There is great interest in the region for our hospitality, event and sports management programs. This is an opportunity for interested students and professionals to meet academic counsellors from our schools face-to-face, and understand more about our program offers, internships during their studies and job opportunities upon graduation.”

In other developments the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has added Glion Institute of Higher Education and Les Roches International School of Hotel Management to its global list of recommended higher education institutions. Students accepted into Glion or Les Roches can now apply for UAE scholarships to complete their studies.
