A team from the Tilal Liwa Hotel has recently participated in Walk 2013, a charity walk held in the Yas Marina Circuit to raise awareness for diabetes.
The walk is a part of the Walk for Life, a key segment of Imperial College London Diabetes’ public health awareness campaign, ‘Diabetes-Knowledge-Action’.
Tilal Liwa Hotel’s general manager Aymon Ashor said: “Tilal Liwa Hotel Diabetes Walk is aligned with its commitment to contribute to community development with a focus on educational and cultural activities. We have participated in the five kilometer walk to show our support for this important awareness campaign and encourage for better lifestyle changes, and hope we can be an inspiration for making a positive impact in our community and beyond.”

Other initiatives taken up by the establishment include participation in the recent Al Gharbiya Career Fair 2013, where they unveiled a summer training program for UAE nationals looking to break into the hotel industry.
