Hilton Worldwide has opened the DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island, located in the UAE emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

The resort joins Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio of four hotels in Ras Al Khaimah, with the latest located on the trunk of Marjan Island, one of five artificial islands close to the upscale area of Al Hamra. With views of the Arabian Gulf, the 485-room DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island will feature a mix of guest rooms and suites, sea-view rooms and villas, all with access to the resort’s private 650-metre beach.

Speaking about the opening DoubleTree by Hilton global head John Greenleaf said: “Ras Al Khaimah is a destination filled with fascinating surprises, and it’s easy to see why the Emirate is attracting more visitors seeking the true essence of the Middle East.”

“DoubleTree by Hilton has enjoyed great success in Ras Al Khaimah since opening our first UAE location there in 2011, and I am delighted that we can now offer an upscale beach resort option to travellers in the UAE,” he added.

DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island will also feature the UAE’s first eforea: spa, Hilton Worldwide’s exclusive spa concept, including seven relaxing treatment rooms along with Jacuzzi, sauna and steam facilities.

Guests at DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island can enjoy the 650-metre private beach, on site facilities include a fitness centre, five temperature controlled pools, with two designed especially for children, and a range of dining options ranging from all-day dining options to a rooftop bar.
