Two Arab men accused of convincing women that they could solve their marital problems by practising sorcery have been arrested in a Dubai hotel, reports Gulf News.
The arrests were reportedly made after a report was received that the men had tried to con a woman of AED 15,000 (US $4084) in exchange for their services. Incense, black magic scripts and talismans were all reportedly found in the men’s hotel room.
Another suspect is accused of driving the two men between various emirates in order for them to commit the offences.

The duo admitted to cheating women suffering from marital problems by telling them they could solve their issues for a fee ranging from AED 4000 ($1090) to AED 7000 .
Last year, the Federal National Council called for tougher penalties for those practising sorcery, saying that the practice goes against Sharia.
