Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has appointed Jane Burnell as vice president sales, Americas – a role she will take on from April 2014.

Burnell, who has been with Four seasons for 14 years, is currently vice president of sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where she leads Four Seasons’ sales activities, and has played a key role growing the brand in the region.

Commenting on Burnell’s appointment, Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts senior vice president global sales Jonathan Sicroff said: “This appointment is a testament to the deep bench strength and tenure within our sales organisation. It recognises Jane’s extensive global experience across cultures and geographies and impressive ability to foster substantive relationships with our clients.”

“Through a keen understanding and awareness of client needs and priorities, Jane has pioneered innovative client engagement programs and experiences that uniquely position Four Seasons in the market,” added Sicroff.

Burnell joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts’ worldwide sales office in London in 2000 and has since grown steadily through the ranks to oversee the management of five of Four Seasons’ 16 worldwide sales offices.

Four Season's has reported that Burnell’s replacement in Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be announced when the position is filled.
