Time Hotels Management has welcomed two new senior corporate executives following a recent announcement of further growth in Luxor, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Ajman; taking the company’s portfolio to eleven hotels by 2015.

Gaetan Lavoie has joined as corporate director of technical services while Bernard Fantoli has been brought on board as the new corporate director of F&B.

Time Hotels Management CEO, Mohamed Awadalla said: “With two great new additions to the Time team, we are looking to continue maintaining, expanding and building both the brand and its high standards. The further developments allow us to move on from successfully positioning ourselves in the local market and move forward with our expansion plans.”

Canadian national Lavoie brings 22 years’ experience having worked in the USA and Canada with SNC Lavalin O&M as regional director of operations, and Accor in Sofitel and Travelodge brands.

Lavoie comments: “Dubai is such an exciting and vibrant city, coming to such an international and hospitality driven destination is a fantastic opportunity. I am really motivated to be working for such a reputable and fast expanding company.”

Fantoli having spent 25 years in F&B roles at Marriott International, IHG and Hilton Worldwide is tasked with developing a comprehensive upgrade to the food and beverage offering across TIME’s portfolio.

The mid-scale Time group’s portfolio is increasing to eleven hotels in the next 18 months with the opening of four new hotels and over 1,245 rooms. The company is set to recruit 940 staff to support its pipeline openings.
