Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide will re-open Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel & Towers on April 9 following a US$50 million renovation.

The overhaul encompassed all guestrooms, leisure and meeting facilities, public spaces and the hotel’s F&B, which now has relaunched its Italian restaurant as Vivaldi by Alfredo Russo, as well as its Indian restaurant, now called Ashiana by Vineet.

With the renovation of Sheraton Dubai Creek we have embraced the modern interpretation of classic design for which the Sheraton brand is known for.”

The hotel’s refurbished rooms feature signature all-white Sheraton Sweet Sleeper™ Bed. The Creek View rooms come with high ceiling windows that give panoramic water views.

Sheraton Club rooms and suites have exclusive access to the Sheraton Club Lounge for private check-in and check-out, complimentary breakfast, evening drinks and snacks, free wireless internet access, as well as refreshments throughout the day.

The hotel’s food and beverage outlets have also been given a makeover. Vivaldi by Alfredo Russo’s new menu was created by Italian Michelin-starred chef Alfredo Russo and the restaurant now features an all-day bar, private dining room and a climate controlled terrace.

Ashiana by Vineet is a traditional Indian restaurant, which presents a menu designed by Michelin-starred Vineet Bhatia. This is the chef's second restaurant in Dubai, and he told Caterer Middle East he was "excited" about the new launch.

Diners can also see chefs in action at the Teppanyaki grill, wok or seafood stations at the Creekside Japanese Restaurant. Hatta, overlooking the creek is the hotels new international buffet restaurant created as part of the renovation.

Starwood operates 14 hotels in Dubai, representing the largest concentration of Starwood hotels anywhere in the world except New York.

The company has nearly 50 hotels across the Middle East, with a pipeline of over 35 scheduled open in the next few years.
