Rotana has added the state of Dhofar in Oman to the regions that area vice president Greg Allan is responsible for, joining Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Allan is now going to oversee operations at Salalah Rotana Resort, which opened last month, in addition to the 13 properties he was already overseeing.
“I invite this new challenge with open arms and look forward to adding such a breathtaking property in a desirable destination to my portfolio of responsibilities,” said Allan.
“The team has been very hospitable which is in line with Rotana’s reputation.”
A Scottish national who was born in Kenya, Allan graduated from Napier University in Edinburgh and has previously been general manager of hotels in Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. Before joining Rotana last year, he had been vice president - rooms, food and beverage, head of marketing at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore.
