Kempinski Hotels has appointed Wissam Suleiman as the general manager of its Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha, ahead of the hotel’s opening later this year.
The hotel, which is due to star welcoming guests in Q4, will have 281 rooms, including 69 suites, two Presidential Suites and two Royal Suites. It will also have a private beach and outdoor swimming pools, water sports facilities, yachts jetty, tennis courts and plush gardens and patios.
Suleiman was most recently general manager of Kempinski Residences & Suites, Doha, and has previously worked in the company’s properties in Dubai and Jordan, having joined in 2004.

Kempinski has also appointed Florian Wille as residence manager of Kempinski Residences & Suites, Doha.
Wille has spent more than 20 years in the luxury hotel business working for brands such as Hilton and Starwood, before joining Kempinski Hotel Corvinus, Budapest as a director of finance.
In May 2011, he was appointed executive assistant manager at Kempinski Grand & Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Centre in Manama where he played a significant role in the openings of the Grand and Ixir towers in September 2011 and March 2013 respectively.
