Yas Island Rotana has hosted a charity iftar for children and families from The Future Centre for Special Needs, a non-profit organisation based in Abu Dhabi.

The event included fun activities for children, including face painting, puzzles, arts and craft, games, and competitions, and gifts sponsored by Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Sparky’s.

Yas Island Rotana & Centro Yas Island general manager said: “This is an incredibly special way for us to support such an important cause and fortify our ties with the local community, and the fact that 30 children left with a smile today, is the single biggest gift of this holy season.”

Commenting on the efforts of the team at the hotel, a member of the centre’s staff said: “At a time of the year when we are reminded of the importance of the human spirit, generosity and love, it was remarkable to see how it all came together.”

The Future Centre for Special Needs is a non-profit organisation that equips children and young adults with learning disabilities and other disorders with the necessary knowledge and skills to enable them to lead fulfilling lives. The centre aims to provide a safe and stimulating environment as well as a systematic, structured and balanced approach to learning.
