Accor has launched a social media competition which will see one of its employees win a cash prize for the best selfie taken by a guest featuring them.

The operator is encouraging guests to publish selfies of themselves with employees at its hotels on Twitter. They should mention the name of the hotel, the account @accorjobs and the hashtag #SelfAccor.

The competition will run until midnight (Paris time) on August 19 and a jury will select the most creative, original and friendly selfies and publish them on the AccorJobs Facebook account

Facebook users will then be invited to ‘like’ their favourite selfie, with the winning picture the one with the most likes when votes close on August 28.

Both the customer who takes the winning picture – as well as the employee featured in it – will win €300 (US $402) vouchers.
