“And it is this tradition of bringing people together that is an essential feature of the story of Raffles in Istanbul. For centuries Istanbul has been the meeting place between East and West, Asia and Europe, where great civilizations and cultures have left their mark and where people have exchanged ideas, told stories and set out again.

“Turkey is a rising star in the global economy and, in this youngest member of the Raffles family, we have created the perfect expression of the 'new' Istanbul: vibrant, full of energy and innovation, but utterly in touch with the city in which it stands and its rich heritage."

The interiors at the property have been designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates, with a contemporary, distinctly Turkish feel. inspired by fabulous Byzantine jewels - all bringing the ancient and modern together.

Among the F&B options at the hotel is Arola, where the Michelin-starred Spanish chef Sergi Arola gives classic Catalan dishes a modern spin. Meanwhile, at Rocca, Turkish and Mediterranean food is the order of the day, all day.

The Raffles Spa at the property has none treatment rooms and a choice of pools, sauna, steam rooms and hammams.

The general manager of Raffles Istanbul is Tarek Mourad, an Egyptian national who previously held the same position at Four Seasons Sultan Ahmed in Istanbul. He was most recently responsible for overseeing the opening of Four Seasons Baku in Azerbaijan.
