The MICE food & beverage offering at the Ritz-Carlton, DIFC in Dubai is being given an artistic twist, in an effort to create a fun talking point for its business visitors.

The luxury hotel already as a strong association with art, with its proximity to a number of galleries, as well as its own collection of over 130 pieces.

It has now extended that theme to its MICE offering, with a range of new and creative, art-inspired menus, created by executive banquet chef Manuel Caicedo and executive pastry chef Dragan Rucnov.

Known as the ‘Artistry Collection’, it includes a choice of three menus: ‘Gallery’, which is presented on easels and in frames in the style of an art gallery; ‘Canvas’, which sees chefs decorate a giant canvas live in front of guests with an array of sweets, chocolates, mini desserts, cakes and candies; and ‘Texture’, which has an array of textures, flavours and visuals including presentations on dry ice.

“All guests of the hotel are looking for unique, engaging experiences, and MICE guests are no different,” said The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC general manager Lothar Quarz.

“With our ‘Artistry Collection’ of menus we are seeking to provide our meetings guests with a fun, creative talking point, designed to relax, engage and inspire, before its back to business.”

Guests can also opt for an organic menu, or an entirely bespoke presentation, which can be themed to the client or brand’s needs.

Further boosting the MICE options at the hotel, it will also next month open up two new 60 square metre meeting rooms, which will sit alongside the Samaya Ballroom. They will have space for 30 and 40 people respectively, with the option of connecting the two rooms together.
