Warwick International Hotels Group has signed a management contract with Al Ebaa Company to operate a new hotel in Iraq.
The Babylon Warwick Hotel, Baghdad, is a conversion property, located along the Tigris, opposite the US Embassy.
The hotel comprises 300 keys, including four duplex suites. Facilities include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre, tennis courts, three conference rooms, six restaurants, and a cigar bar.
Commenting on the new opening, Warwick International Hotels vice president and CEO for the MENA region Jamal Serhan said: “Warwick International Hotels’ ambition for the Middle East region is to reach a network of 15 hotels by 2016.

Warwick International Hotels currently has eight operational hotels in the Middle East – two in Jordan, three in Lebanon, and one each in the UAE, Iraq, and Qatar. The group operates a network of 55 hotels around the world.
