The Cove Rotana hosted a Universal Children’s Day celebration for students from Ras Al Khaimah Academy on November 20.

Activities at the event included educational games, face painting, and competitions. The students were divided into teams and joined by the volunteers in various group activities such as sand castle building, beach football, collecting seashells and pebbles.

The Cove Rotana’s kitchen team prepared a ‘Little Chefs’ brunch for the students, who were given a chance to experience how to be a chef and prepare their own food.

Gifts were then distributed to children at the end of the event.

Commenting on the Children’s Day celebration, The Cove Rotana general manager Andreas Mueller said: “It was an honour to host the students from RAK Academy and their teachers. Our colleagues who volunteered, went extra miles to make the activity a success. It was truly rewarding seeing the joy and happiness on the children’s faces.”
