Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl – Doha has officially opened and begun welcoming visitors and guests.

The new Kempinski property, which has a total of 281 rooms, including 69 suites, is the five-star hotel on The Pearl, a major manmade island project featuring residential and commercial elements, in Doha.

Construction work is still ongoing at the hotel and, once it is completed, it will features 11 food & beverage outlets, a Spa by Clarins and extensive meeting and events facilities

“This hotel is a benchmark for personalised luxury in Doha. From the opulent corridors and public spaces, to the luxuriously appointed rooms and suites, to a selection of the finest restaurants and lounges, all of these premium offerings will offer an unrivalled and tailored experience for each and every one of our guests,” said general manager Wissam Suleiman.

Combining European and Arabian architectural and design elements, the hotel is punctuated with a vast array of artwork around the property; with pieces by Doha-based artist Ahmed al Bahrani, including a bronze horse at the entrance, among them, there are more than 3000 piece across the property.

The property is Kempinski’s seventh in the Gulf and second in Doha itself. The operator has a further two set to open this year
