A former general manager of a US hotel has agreed to plead guilty to charges of stealing $872,000 in a credit card scheme.
According to Wood TV, Renata Nicole Annese regularly swiped customer credit card payments at Sleep Inn & Suites in Allendale, Michigan, directing a portion of these into her account.
She joined the hotel as GM in 2004, and the payments in question are alleged to have been made between 2006 and 2013.

It has now been reported that, under a plea agreement, she faces up to 20 years in prison and three years of supervised release.
She will also be required to pay the $872,000 in restitution.
MLive reports that Annese used at least $120,000 of the proceeds to make payments on a house she owns with her husband Michael.
It adds that she will forfeit half of the $60,000 equity in the house or the government will seek its forfeiture.
Furthermore, the conviction could subject her to administrative or civil proceedings related to her naturalization as a U.S. citizen.
