The third edition of the Hotelier Middle East Spa & Wellness Forum is underway at Grosvenor House Dubai.

The forum, which kicked off at 8am, has welcomed some of the top spa and wellness experts from around the UAE and beyond, to discuss the topics most pertinent to the industry today.

The event is being held in association with Lucrea General Trading, and exhibitors include ManageMySpa and RNS Beauty Personal Care & Equipment.

Some of the speakers at today’s event include Paul Hawco, director of Talise Spa Operations, Jumeirah Group, Michael Monsod, director of spa and recreation at Zaya Retreats and Paris Kounoudis, director of spa, Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi Grand Canal.

Panel debates are covering a range of key topics such as whether real ROI can be generated from the latest trends in spa, how to make sure spas are an integral feature in a resident’s lifestyle and how to get the most out of spa therapists – the most important element of a successful spa operation.

Some exciting additions at this year’s event, courtesy of Jumeirah Group, include a morning energizer session with Master Shi Yan Can, resident Tai Chi and Kung Fu Master at Talise Spa Madinat Jumeirah, and a case study from Gabriele Kurz, executive wellbeing chef, at Jumeirah Group’s Talise Nutrition.
