Sundus Investments Projects has partnered with Oman-based Shaksy Engineering Services to develop the first phase of the Sundus Airport Heights project in Muscat, reported TradeArabia News Service. It includes Sundus Rotana, a four-star business hotel, which is set to open doors in February 2017.
The 215-key property has been designed to cater to travellers visiting the sultanate for business and to attend conferences. It boasts a central location, and offers amenities such as a ballroom, meeting rooms, an executive lounge, boardroom and a business centre to facilitate corporate travellers.
Sundus Investments Projects chairman Mohammed Mahfoodh Al Ardhi said: “Sundus Investments Projects is committed to leveraging the sultanate's potential through developing high quality properties that add significant value to Muscat’s tourism sector. We are confident that our synergistic partnership with Shaksy Engineering Services will help us achieve the successful launch of the hotel in 2017.”

While the first phase of Sundus Airport Heights project focuses on business travellers, the second phase of the project will see the development of a Sundus Arjaan featuring 85 luxury hotel apartments, including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, along with all-day dining and fine dining restaurants.
