Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has signed a management contract with Sisban Holdings for a new 350-key hotel in Jeddah.
Fairmont Jeddah Hotel & Resort will open in 2018 and will be located on the North Corniche.
The property will also be home to 100 Fairmont Residences, and facilities will include a Willow Stream Spa, swimming pool, 2900m2 of meeting and function space, and a selection of F&B venues.
In addition to the Jeddah property, FRHI also has hotels under development in Bahrain, UAE, and Egypt – where it is doubling its pipeline.
The group recently announced projects, including Fairmont Marina Resort, which also features a residential component, and Fairmont Bahrain Resort. Five properties in Egypt, including Fairmont Soma Bay and Swissôtel Katameyah as well as a tri-brand development in Sharm el Sheikh, will increase the brand’s footprint in this part of the world.
