MVP Tech, providers of technological infrastructure for security management, showcased its latest software, PSIM, at the Hotelier Safety & Security Summit 2015.

The software creates interface between the cause and effect by introducing it into process SOP (standard operational procedures), with centralised control.

It converts fragmented data into actionable information, and avoids costly operational output caused by false alarms. For example, for minor incidents that do not require the presence of a security representative, the system can redirect the incident to the concerned department for analysing and evaluating the result.

Moreover, the software geospatially aligns information and assets into a single user interface. It has five core areas of functionality — it collects, analyses, verifies, resolves and tracks information — which in turn minimises risk, reduces operational costs and improves situation response time with the ability to manage situations in real-time.

The system works especially well to enhance security for widely dispersed assets because it leverages a mobile application. Responders, supervisors, IT staff and senior executives with authorised credentials can access PSIM from anywhere via mobile device (tablet, cell phone) for enhanced situational awareness.
