UAE head-quartered Time Hotels Management will enter the Omani hospitality market, with a hotel each in Salalah and Muscat, reports Times of Oman.

The property in each of the places has not been finalised, and the company is currently looking at land and some existing properties as well.

“We have properties in the UAE, Egypt and Qatar and my next destination is Oman,” said TIME Hotels CEO Mohamed Awadalla.

Commenting on the choice of destination, Awadalla said that Oman has got a very rich culture, and is a very promising destination for tourists. Moreover, there is a growing demand for quality budget brands across GCC, and therefore the company has decided to launch its first Time Express brand.

The company currently manages 10 hotels, four more are in the pipeline, and aims to open 20 hotels in GCC by 2020.
