Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman and Ramada Beach Hotel Ajman arranged an iftar for 200 labourers in the emirate.
During the event, general manager Iftikhar Hamdani and heads of department visited the workers’ accommodation in Ajman and organised a buffet set up for the men to break their fast.
The excess food was also offered to the labourers for their suhoor meal.
Hamdani said: “Our properties have been actively involved in CSR initiatives throughout the year and for the holy month of Ramadan, we have lined-up a couple of charitable activities.
“Mainly, we chose to reach out to our brothers in the labour camps to express our gratitude for their hard work, to share our blessings with them and to make them feel that they are a significant part of our society, through these little acts of kindness and altruism. We hope that this will inspire other private entities to take part in such activities.”
