Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Jeddah has opened, marking the third hotel in the city for Rezidor, a member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

Saudi Arabia is a dedicated focus country for Rezidor: the group now operates nine hotels with more than 1400 rooms in the Kingdom.

“With its prime location, the Radisson Blu Plaza is a welcome addition to the growing hospitality market in Jeddah, and we are delighted to be flying the Radisson Blu flag at this new hotel,” said Basel Talal, Rezidor’s district director for Saudi Arabia.

“We have a first-class team in place and an unqualified desire to make this newly rebranded property a huge success.”

“Our primary concern is to maintain the high standards and quality reputation we have established wherever we have our hotels and I am confident that the new Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Jeddah will complement our growth in the Kingdom and become a bastion of supreme hotel service and guest satisfaction.”

Situated on King Abdullah Road, Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel, Jeddah sits close to businesses and two shopping malls, Al Andalus and Al Salam.

The hotel’s 112 rooms and suites offer free high speed internet access, work desks, satellite televisions and large beds.

The hotel’s F&B offering includes all-day dining outlet, Al Liwan and the Lounge Café, and leisure facilities include an outdoor pool and fitness centre.

The hotel was signed a year ago, along with three other Saudi properties for the company.
