Kempinski Hotel Mall of Emirates
What’s your job role now?
Regional Rooms Specialist for India, Middleast and Africa. Apart from looking after the Mall of Emirates property, I travel around the world to train rooms division teams and audit them. My role is to elevate the rooms division to the best standards in the region.
How has winning a Hotelier award impacted your career?
I have gained recognition within the region and company. Post receiving the award I gained exposure to the best hotels like Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi, Kempinski Nay Pyi Taw Myanmar etc. Being the best housekeeping in the region is a treasure which I will cherish forever.
Are you hoping to be nominated this year for an award?
It depends on my company but I am still celebrating my last award.
What is the best piece of advice you can give other hoteliers who want to win a Hotelier Award?
I think to be exceptional one should thrive on making a difference in leading people with a vision of creativity. We have many bosses but few leaders, so be a leader always!

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
I wish to elevate myself to higher roles like general manager and hold more key positions in the company.
What are you doing to achieve your goals and dreams?
I am participating in various training programmes to develop my leadership, data analytical skills. I am also exposed to various challenges within the rooms division in different places to advance further.
What’s your dream position?
To be a CEO
What is your life ambition outside of work?
I am a poet, and I love writing. I wish to publish my books one day. I think future generations can be inspired through books.
