Media One Hotel; I have now worked there for nearly four years.

I am still the general manager.
How has winning a Hotelier award impacted your career?
I have gained more recognition for the hotel and the team who are a key part of my success.

Are you hoping to be nominated this year for an award?
Yes as part of Team of the Year….we have an amazing group of individuals here who work so well together to contributing greatly to the hotel‘s ongoing success.
What is the best piece of advice you can give other hoteliers who want to win a Hotelier Award?
If anyone working in the hotel industry wins an award it is great recognition of their achievements, but it is usually a team effort as no one can win without the support of the other individuals they work with.
Where do you see yourself in five years’ time and what are you doing to achieve your goals and dreams?
Still working in the hospitality industry; but I like a simple life so my key goals are to be happy and healthy doing a job I enjoy; and I have that all at the moment. I do not wish to rule the world
