The famous Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool, UK, has been acquired by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels for £13.8m (AED 79.6 million).

The ungrammatically-named, Beatles-inspired hotel is near the Cavern Club, the famous venue where the British band rose to fame, having performed there over 290 times.

Hard Days Night Hotel, established in 2008, has 110 guest rooms and suites and is Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ 24th property in Europe. The lease is with Liverpool City Council and is for 113 years.

Kwek Leng Beng, Chairman of Millennium & Copthorne’s Board of Directors, said: “This unique acquisition, which will be supported by Millennium & Copthorne’s existing management infrastructure, further expands the Group’s hotel portfolio to one of the leading leisure and business destinations in the UK. The city is undergoing an economic regeneration and we are proud to be a part of that.”

Hard Days Night Hotel is a four star, Beatles-inspired set in a Grade II listed building and features exclusive artwork by world-renowned Beatles artists such as Klaus Voorman and Sir Peter Blake, and is home to Blakes restaurant and the exclusive Bar Four.
