Rocco Forte Hotels, a group of 10 individual hotels and resorts in spread across European countries, has announced the appointment of Naveed Mohammed as assistant director of global sales, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Rocco Forte is planning on re-entering the GCC with its first Middle East property set to open in early 2016, with subsequent launches in other GCC countries. However, the brand has not commented on its UAE expansion plans.
Mohammed joins the team in Riyadh with expertise in sales, development and team management, having honed his career with leading brands in the hospitality industry in the region.
Mohammed has resided in Saudi Arabia for the past eight years, developing an excellent raport within the Saudi Arabian royal family, government officials and corporate accounts, which he will strengthen and utilise in his new position.
An Indian national, Mohammed is graduated from the Osmania University, and has been awarded certificates in hospitality, sales and marketing, and technical computer skills. In addition, Mohammed holds an MBA degree.
