Park Hyatt Dubai has appointed a new management team, including the general manager, marketing communications manager, and director of rooms.
General manager Mattheos Georgiou is a Greek national who was raised in Germany, and has more than two decades of international hospitality experience. He joined the Hyatt brand at the age of 18, and stayed. He joins Park Hyatt Dubai after his first general manager assignment at Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki, from a transition prior to that at Park Hyatt Tokyo.
Director of rooms Friedrich Von Schoenfeldt, from Germany, has had a range of experience, including at Four Seasons Berlin, New York, Doha, Mumbai and Los Angeles.
Noha Khatib, the new marketing communications manager, has lived in Dubai for seven years and worked in communications with an emphasis on social and digital media. Originally Lebanese, Khatib grew up in Saudi Arabia. She said: "The first time I visited the property, I remember thinking how inspiring it would be to work here."
