Four Seasons Abu Dhabi Four Seasons Abu Dhabi

The Four Seasons Abu Dhabi being built on Al Maryah Island and set to open in 2016, has celebrated the achievement of 15 million project man hours without any major injuries.

In construction terms, that means that no one working on the project, from labourer to management, to client, has suffered an injury that’s resulted in lost time for the project or person.

The project began in April of 2013, and at Hotelier Middle East’s last update, was still on track to open in Q2 2016.

On completion, the 34-floor hotel will feature 190 hotel guestrooms, 54 serviced apartments and 1290 square metres of meeting and conference facilities on Al Maryah Island, a business and lifestyle development in the heart of the UAE capital.

The site team, comprising project managers Faithful+Gould and construction team Al Futaim Carillion, marked the special milestone with a celebration and awards ceremony with appreciation certificates recognising individual labourers and staff for their invaluable contributions towards this achievement.
