A five-star hotel is set for development in Oman's Al Khuwair area, adjacent to Muscat Grand Mall.
Maisarah Islamic Banking Services signed an agreement with Shaza Oman to finance the construction of the Muscat hotel, which will comprise bedrooms, suites, a ballroom, themed restaurants, swimming pools, and other facilities.
The hotel, to be managed by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, is scheduled for a soft launch in December 2015.

According to Times of Oman, Faisal Al Tamimi, head of wholesale banking at Maisarah, said: “We at Maisarah continue to be the leading provider of shariah-compliant products and services for both retail and corporate customers."
“This agreement comes as part of our broader strategic plan and continuous efforts to provide tailored financial solutions to our diverse customer base,” he added.
