Sysco Guest Supply regional VP Middle East & North Africa Ken Wharton said the expected expansion in both the number of properties and the consequent challenges of supporting this growth throughout the region is an exciting element of the UAE hospitality industry right now.
He told Hotelier Middle East, after signing on to be a part of the Hotelier Middle East Procurement Summit: "It is essential for suppliers to maintain a close relationship with all procurement managers to enable both seller and purchaser to 'team up' to provide the very best products and services for the hotel guests."
One of the challenges facing procurement professionals in this market is fitting quality of product and service to the high expectation of today’s guests, according to Wharton.
Sysco Guest Supply has had an exciting year, with an acquisition at the forefront.
