Dushan Gunarathna has joined Time Hotels as director of revenue, and with the addition Roddy Gordon, vice president of sales and marketing the UAE-based hotelier continues on its ambitious growth path.
He brings along e-commerce expertise and a solid reservations background to the Time corporate leadership, as well as in-depth knowledge of the region.
“Dushan’s e-distribution and revenue knowledge and reputation in the region will be a fantastic foundation for Time Hotels’ to consolidate our strategy and capitalise on new potential areas of revenue enhancement and market penetration,” remarked Awadalla.
Gunarathna joins the team from another home-grown brand, Rotana Hotels, where he fast tracked his career path, progressing from reservations agent to area e-distribution manager, with responsibility for 27 properties, in just five years.
