Paula Tannous has been appointed as the director of sales and marketing at the Yas Viceroy hotel, Abu Dhabi.
Tannous is responsible for strategy development and internal operations for the hotel including all the restaurants, MICE spaces and facilities.
She will play a key role in all events and promotional activity happening in and around the hotel, including Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Tannous brings a wealth of experience in sales and marketing as well as in room sales, having held various operational positions earlier in her career. After several years of experience in revenue and reservation management with Accor, she relocated to Dubai in 2008 as central reservations manager for Accor Hospitality Central Services.

Later she joined Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa where she held the role of director of sales and marketing and then, executive assistant manager. Most recently Tannous was complex director of sales and marketing of Novotel & Ibis World Trade Centre Dubai.
Additionally, she holds a diploma in hospitality management from TAFE Queensland in Australia and is also currently pursuing her master’s degree in marketing and innovation from Glion University, Switzerland.
