Nikki Beach Resort & Spa has appointed Daniele Vastolo as general manager for the Dubai property.
Vastolo is also group director of operations of Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts EMEA Ltd.
The first in the Middle East and in partnership with Meraas Holding, the beachfront boutique resort is set to open its doors in spring 2016 - after initially forecasting a scheduled opening of H2 2015.
“Daniele is an innovator and a leader, whose passion for the hospitality industry is demonstrated through his engagement and involvement at all levels of the organization,” said Nikki Beach Hotel & Resorts EMEA co-founder and CEO Jihad El Khoury.
After developing his career with international hospitality groups such as Shangri - La Hotels & Resorts and Constance Hotels, Vastolo has overseen the opening and pre-opening of various island resorts as general manage in the Seychelles and Fiji, among other locations.

“I believe people are the true assets of any operation and I strive to build the perfect team for the Dubai opening through meticulous talent acquisition, coaching and leadership skills,” said Vastolo.
Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai will be located in Pearl Jumeira, and will be the brand's 11th location and third hotel property to open in the world.
Spanning over 52,000m2, on a private beach, the property will comprise a boutique hotel and lifestyle residences. It features the signature Nikki Beach Club & Restaurant, Cafe Nikki, Soul Lobby, Satine Restaurant and Lounge, Key West, Nikki Spa and Tone Fitness, special designed tennis courts, water sports, meeting spaces and numerous outdoor event venues.
Inspired by the design vision of Jack Penrod, Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Dubai has been designed in collaboration with DSA Architects International with interiors by Gatserelia Design and will feature 132 keys, which comprises 117 rooms and suites, alongside 15 villas and 61 lifestyle residences with units ranging from one to four bedrooms and include two penthouses. Private pools, outdoor showers, sky lounges, and large roof terraces are also on offer.
