Qatar's newest hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel Doha opens today.
Developed by Al Rayan Tourism Development Company W.L.L. the 50 storey, five-star hotel is located in Doha’s business hub, the West Bay district.
New general manager Coen Masselink said: “We are delighted to be in Doha in a prime location with such dedicated owners.”
The new Shangri-La Hotel Doha comprises of 272 rooms and suites, which range in size from 46-288 square metres. The property also offers 42 fully serviced and furnished apartments, which the hotel states is a first for Doha.

The Shangri-La Doha will also house seven food and beverage outlets, including a Chinese restaurant and club lounge on levels 43 and 44.
ARTIC (Al Rayan Tourism Development Company W.L.L.) vice chairman H.E. Sheikh Mohamed Bin Faisal Al Thani commented: “The much-anticipated opening of Shangri-La Hotel, Doha represents another significant milestone for ARTIC and for Doha’s hotel industry.
