Al Bustan Centre & Residence hosted the delegates and participants of the Second Fazza International Para Archery Championship Tournament from January 13-20, 2016.

The championship was held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and chairman of Dubai Sports Council (DSC), held at the Dubai Club for the disabled with the support of the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Center and in cooperation with the General Authority of Youth and Sports Welfare and the UAE Paralympic Committee.

15 countries participated in this year’s tournament including: Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, India, Iran, Iraq, Mongolia, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, United Kingdom, South Korea, Thailand and competition host, the UAE.

Moussa El Hayek, chief operating officer of Al Bustan Centre and Residence, said: “It is our honour and prestige to be part of this championship. It was our priority to provide the highest possible level of service to all delegates and guests.

Majid Abdullah Al Usaimi, executive director at the Dubai Club for the Disabled and director of the Fazza Championships for the Disabled, distributed plaques of appreciation to the representatives from 15 participating countries during the special dinner hosted by the hotel.
