Hyatt International EAME/SWA has appointed Christian Pertl as regional vice president of sales operations for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Middle East and Africa.
With almost two decades in the hospitality industry, Pertl has extensive international experience in commercial operations and widespread knowledge of key feeder markets including Europe, USA, Middle East and Africa, and Asia Pacific.
Pertl said: “I am delighted to join Hyatt and be able to deploy my knowledge and passion for hospitality on the ground in such a dynamic and evolving market. My extensive global experience, coupled with my strong regional proficiency, allows me to help build on the legacy of authentic hospitality already in place within the Hyatt portfolio here."
In his previous role, he spent four years with the Jumeirah Group as RVP sales & marketing for the MEASA region.

Prior to this, he spent 13 years with IHG in several senior commercial leadership roles within Europe and the Middle East, including his position as commercial director for IHG Dubai Festival City.
