United Arab Emirate home-grown coffee supplier, Coffee Planet, marks 10 year anniversary by launching company rebranding at Gulfood 2016.

As part of a company-wide realignment, Coffee Planet has marked its tenth anniversary by rebranding the business under one unified identity.

Speaking with Hotelier Middle East Coffee Planet managing director Robert Jones said: “10 years ago we started our journey with a small stand at Gulfood, over the years we’ve grown consistently, so we feel it is important to reveal both our new innovations and our rebranding here at Gulfood 2016.”

Speaking of the new innovations Jones added: “Coffee Plant is highlighting a newly launched range of locally produced coffee capsules at Gulfood. We manufacture our nespresso capsules here in the UAE, so Gulfood is a great method to optimise and maximise our GCC distribution, not only for our exisiting products, but our new capsules too.”

Jones claimed that while the brand is distributed throughout the GCC, Saudi Arabia represents a ‘huge attraction to the company, he said: “It is always a challenge to get Saudi Arabia right – we have worked in the country for a number of years now in a small capacity – it would be fantastic for us to lock down a deal at Gulfood 2016 with a reputable distributor in the Kingdom.”

The mid-range hotel sector has been highlighted as a key new market for Coffee Planet, having already secured a number of new contracts in the region with three-star properties.
