Nominations for the Caterer Middle East Awards 2016 have been open for over a month, with entries being accepted via Survey Monkey. There are 16 categories this year and trophies will be handed out at the eighth annual Caterer Middle East Awards ceremony, to be held in Dubai on June 1, 2016.

All entries for this year’s awards need to relate to achievements during the 12 months ending March 2016, and entries in the ‘people’ categories must be supported by up to five customer and colleague testimonials.

The awards aim to recognise the achievements of a variety of F&B professionals, outlets and companies across the region. Attended by the crème de la crème of the regional industry, the awards are a chance to support F&B champions.

“There has been a surge in new F&B concepts over the past 12 months, so I think we are going to see some new faces nominated.

“I’m looking forward to hopefully receiving a greater number of entries from the wider region — Qatar, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia,” said Caterer Middle East editor Sarah Jacotine.

The deadline for companies and individuals wishing to submit nominations is 11.59pm on Thursday March 31, leaving you and your colleagues the rest of this month to put your names forward. After this date, submissions will no longer be accepted.

Nominations are only valid when made through Survey Monkey using the links provided on the awards website — nominations in any other format will not be accepted by the editorial team.

More than 550 industry decision makers will be in attendance to celebrate the achievements of F&B professionals across the Middle East.

The nominations will be judged by a jury of industry peers — who will be announced in the next issue of Caterer Middle East.

Entries for this year’s event will no doubt be as diverse as they are plentiful; however one thing stands true for every successful submission — each award winner begins life as a well-prepared nomination.

With this in mind, Caterer Middle East has put together a handy guide detailing how you can give yourself, your colleagues, and your company the best chance of winning. You may refer to this as well as last month’s guide to submit winning entries. Good luck!
