JB's Gastropub has opened at Amwaj Rotana Jumeirah Beach Hotel, located on The Walk in Dubai.
Named after Jumeirah Beach, the licenced outlet joins the Dubai hotel's three other restaurants and offers a menu of predominantly British and US cuisine, such as smoked meats and roasts.
The menu features sharing platters and sausages by the metre, and diners are able to make up their own platters of cheeses and cured meats.
British chef James Hitchens is leading the kitchen team. Prior to joining JB's, he was head chef on a 93-metre royal family yacht based in Dubai.
In terms of interior design, vintage luggage, antiques and old fashioned light fixtures are dotted around the outlet, which seats more than 200 guests spread across an outdoor terrace, bar, dining area and a high-tables space.
Mark Deere, the hotel's general manager, commented: "Having enjoyed huge success with our three award-winning restaurants and taking in the feedback of our most loyal guests, we felt the need for a fourth restaurant especially one such as JB's that enjoys an entrance right off the street from The Walk."
